Our next meeting will take place on Monday, July 17, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM in the Cottonwood Meeting Room at the Bozeman Public Library. (Note the change in location.)
At our June meeting, we had a full house in attendance. Under Diana’s tutelage, we began long-term 6″ x 9″ portfolio project of 15-20 pieces employing monoline letter and watercolors. In this first session, we explored a monoline alphabet of 2 intertwined heights, and painted cherry blossoms in watercolor. We’d love to have you join us. If you missed the June meeting, let us know you’re coming and Diana will have copies of the June handouts available for you.
At our July 17 meeting, we’ll be working with another monoline alphabet and making some new design decisions. This will be the second meeting in which we work on a long-term project exploring watercolors and monoline lettering. We will work on 6 x 9 watercolor paper; at the end, we will make a simple portfolio wrapper for our work — no stitching or gluing involved.
