Our next meeting will be held 2:00-4:00 PM on Monday, July 8, in the Cottonwood Room at the library. This will be the twelfth meeting in which we work on our long-term project exploring watercolors and monoline lettering. Diana will lead the meeting and we will be working on a layout introduced at the June meeting and continue working with scripts and elements we’ve used before, combining them in a new way. Two samples are attached to this email. We will work with a design that uses shadows so bring a soft leaded pencil and a stump. Diana will bring a bag of stumps to share for anyone who does not have one.
Bring the supplies you’ve been using each month: watercolors, brushes, water, etc. Also bring some mixed media or watercolor practice paper. We will spend the first part of class looking at the design elements and how to add lettering in the design.
